scottbraden.com is operated by Scott Braden ("Scott Braden", "we", "us", or "our"). This policy covers this website only. Bookings, forms, and assistant conversations on this site are handled in the same system used by Growth Automation Solutions, and are covered by this policy as well.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you visit, and information created when you use the booking calendar or talk with Scottybot, the assistant on this site.
Information you provide:
Contact details you enter when booking a conversation or asking for a callback: name, email address, phone number, business name, and website.
Anything you say or type in a conversation with Scottybot, or send by email.
Appointment details: the time you book and any notes you add.
Information collected automatically:
Standard server and analytics data: pages visited, referring page, browser and device type, approximate location from IP address, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies used by the site platform, the booking calendar, and the chat widget.
3. How we use the information
To respond to you, book and manage appointments, and send appointment confirmations and reminders.
To send a summary of a Scottybot conversation when you ask for one.
To follow up about Growth Automation Solutions or ABI Social services when you have asked about them or booked a conversation.
To operate, secure, and improve this website.
To meet legal obligations.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
3A. Conversations with Scottybot
Scottybot is an automated assistant on this site, available by voice widget and by email. When you talk with Scottybot:
The conversation is processed by the site's systems, which may include automated transcription of voice conversations.
Scott Braden receives a summary of every Scottybot conversation and reads it.
Details you give Scottybot (name, email, phone, business, website) are saved to a contact record so Scott can follow up.
If you ask Scottybot to book, the booking is made on Scott's calendar and confirmed by email.
Do not give Scottybot passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive credentials. It does not need them and they should never be shared in a website chat.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
Service providers that run this site's functions: website hosting, the booking calendar, email and text delivery, and the assistant platform. They process information only to provide those functions.
Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Cookies
This site and its embedded tools (calendar, chat widget) use cookies that are needed for them to work, and may use analytics cookies to understand visits. You can block cookies in your browser; the booking calendar and chat widget may not work correctly if you do.
6. Your choices
Ask what information we hold about you, and ask for correction or deletion, by emailing the address in Section 8.
Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts. Click unsubscribe in any marketing email to stop those emails. Appointment confirmations for a booking you made will still be sent.
7. Data retention and security
Contact and conversation records are kept while they are useful for the follow-up purposes above, and deleted on request subject to legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small business website. No system is perfectly secure.
